Silicone water-repellent impregnation
 KEMAFOB
Colourless silicone water-repellent impregnation and primer for mineral surfaces. For water-repellent impregnation and priming of all mineral surfaces such as concrete, mineral plasters, roof tiles, brick, gas concrete, silicate brick, natural and artificial stone, included joints, facades of mineral colours etc.

  • Solvent-based
  • Prevents "efflorescence"
  • Prevents concrete surface damage due to salts and frost
  • It is colourless, water vapour permeable and water-repellent
  • Suitable as a substrate for all coatings
  • Smells like petroleum
  • Excellent durability because of mineral basis and extraordinarily strong silicic bonds with mineral substrate
  • Facilitates the cleaning of the substrate and hinders the development of micro organisms
  • Min. 2 coats »wet-to-wet«
CONSUMPTION:
approx. 0,2 to 1,0 l / m² depending on the absorption capability of the surface

The required quantity of KEMAFOB depends on the adsorbency of the substrate. The amount of impregnating agent required for a substrate and the effectiveness of the impregnation should be determined on site by testing a small area of the material to be treated. For this reason, the figures quoted below are intended as a guide only:
  • concrete 0,25-0,5 l/m2
  • stucco 0,5-1 l/m2
  • brickwork 0,4-2 l/m2
  • gas concrete 0,59-2 l/m2
  • natural and artificial stone 0,05-3 l/m2
PACKAGING:
  • 1 l in can / 6 kg (6x1 l) in carton box / 432 l (72x6 l) on pallet
  • 10 l in can / 450 l (45x10 l) on pallet
