The basis for making the industrial pavements are reinforced concrete constructions – boards, usually carried out on well compact fundamental floors, but it can also be as a floor supporting element (example of garage houses). The basic deficiency of classic smoothing-up of concrete is most of all the non-resistance against usage and with her linked dustiness and porous ness of used surface. We can already avoid that in the phase of smoothing-up of concrete surface, which we previously every time strew with ready –prepared dry colored strew
TAL M KVARC or
TAL M KORUND 3. The layer of thick surface of concrete (gray, red, oker, green, anthracite grey, brown, blue), which we get with such handling has increased resistance against usage and dustiness; it is frost-resistance and has an increased resistance against oil, grease and detergents. Industrial pavements, which are exposed to especially high burdening, are build in at the fresh concrete surface instead of strew with ready-to-use mortar mixture
TAL M KORUND 10 and it is build in by machine with concrete smoothers.
The process:
- concrete board should be made with concrete of constant quality with recommendable values of 100 – 150 mm (S3) and with the lowest water-cement factor. The minimal pavement hardness should be 25N/mm2 (C20/25). We advice the use additives for concrete from the programme KEMAMENT.
- After the building in and leveling of concrete it is necessary to wait, so that the concrete can bind so much, that it can be started to strew TAL M KVARC/TAL M KORUND 3 or build in TAL M KORUND 10.
- TAL M KVARC or TAL M KORUND TAL M KORUND 10 is equally strewed (usually with machine) at the first step ca. 3-4 kg/m2 and is smoothed by machine with rotation smoothers. At the second step we strew for ca. 1-3 kg/m2 and continue with smoothing-up till final handling.
- mortar coating TAL M KORUND 10 is also build in on a fresh concrete surface. To assure an equal thickness of layer it is usually used metal armature stick ø10 mm or more, across that the leveling is permormed, and which are being pulled out again after the material has been put on. Smoothing of surface is being made by rotation smoothers.
- the care of surface after the smoothing is made with KEMACURE EKO, which is being put on to a fresh concrete surface with jetting. KEMACURE EKO doesn’t contain solutions and waxes an isn’t decreasing adhesion of eventual further coatings, alternative the care can be made also by covering up the PVC foil or felt, that is getting moisture along. We recommend performing the care at least 14 days.
